Notes

An entry in the Ancestrial File at LDS lists Robert and Joan Eldred of Winfarthington, Norfolk, England as his parents. However, it looks rather bogus, since Robert and Joans b'dates are given as Abt.1570, yet William Eldred's b'date is Abt. 1622. Parentage for William Eldred, and information about his brothers was obtained from Mert Alexander (MALEXANDE1@MVM.COM), who obtained it from research compiled from Nelson B. Eldred (2885 Pine Grove Ct., Marietta GA 30067). Authenticity of this parentage has not been verified. See also: 1. Zoeth S.
