Dates (not places) and info about his family from Genealogies of New Jersey Families from GMNJ 1(198): "39. Jacob(6) de Decker, bap. 7 May 1741, d. 30 Oct. 1824; m. (license) 21 Jan 1762 to Sarah Simonson, b. 5 Feb 1737, d. March 1827. They had issue as follows (from the Decker Bible in possession of Ralph D. Trismen, 457 Fenway, River Edge, N.J., and supplied by Mr. Kenneth Chase Decker of S.I.). Mr. Frederick C. Decker (#89 [son of Cornelius Venderbuilt Decker]) states that he recalls the "old folk" talking about the Decker twins, Abraham and Isaac, who lived on a road that ran off from Rockland Avenue, about 1/2 mile in from Richmond Avenue; and he, himself, recalls having seen the grave of James S. Decker [son of Jacob de Decker] which was on the edge of a farm, behind the airport on Richmond Avenue. !Will: Dated 22 Sep 1821, Proved 7 Nov 1827. Jacob DECKER, weak in body...leaves $1000 to wife Sarah during her natural life at her death divided among 3 children: Abraham and Isaac, executors and daughter Anna JONES, one half share and $12.50 to son Abner DECKER $1000 to daughter Suzan DECKER bed and bedding to beloved wife and to daughter Suzan, executrix witnessed by Peter AMMERMAN, Rebecca AMMERMAN, William H CLAPP codicil 19 Feb 1824 Jacob DECKER of Northfield [signed shakily] to son Jacob DECKER $25 friend George PRESTON of Southfield is named executor in place and instead of son Isaac.
