Henry Clay Reed

The following is a copy of an article possessed by Nina H. Reed. A date is not given on the article, but Harold L. Mortensen told Nona Reed (c. Mar 1993) that "he has seen at one time a poster of H.C. Reed running for Sheriff." H. C. Reed "The Old Settler" Candidate for Sheriff Roseau County Ex-county commissioner, Henry C. Reed, of Badger is out as a candidate for Sheriff. Mr. Reed has been identified with boosting and aiding in the development of his home town and county for over 20 years. The times takes pleasure in recommending him to the voters of the county for two reasons, one because he deserves it, and the other because he has always been a friend of the writer, true and faithful. Mr. Reed made a good commissioner.
