Notes
Family tree also has "Barbadoes" written under his name. I don't know what this indicates. Also says "Sent by the King to make Settlement" above his nme across the top of the chart.
At this point, I do not know much about what either of these phrases means.
One might conjecture that the author of the pedigree was telling us that Marcus was sent by the king to establish a settlement on Barbados. Or possibly he came from Barbados and was sent to establish a settlement in the colonies (which would have been Maryland if that was the case).
Marcus probably did not settle in America, because the only early immigration records I've found was that of his son Randolph BRANDT to Maryland.
Source: Large pedigree chart given to me by Henry Allan Latimer. Origin
of this chart is unknown, but I suspect it was prepared by a genealogist
hired by the LATIMER family at one point, possibly about 1906 or soon
after (because the most recent date on the chart is 1906).

See also the will for his grandson Marcus Brandt, listed in the notes section for him. It explicitly lists some connections to St. Michaells on the Island of Barbadoes.
