This association deals with the descendants of immigrants from Pfungstadt, Hessen, Germany (near Darmstadt). Recognized spellings include: Croessmann, Chrisman, Creasman, Cresman, Cressman, Criesman, Crisman, Crissman, and Kressman.
The Cressman Family association is a very active association with approximately 600 members. The society offers several publications on the family at very reasonable prices. With $4 annual dues, I highly recommend joining.
Annual Dues & Donations: $4 subscribing; $5 voting; over $5 contributing. Memberships include all persons residing at the same address.

This society deals with the descendants of the pioneer Jost Hite, which includes the descendants of Jacob Chrisman and Magdalena Hite of Opequon (Winchester), Frederick Co., Virginia.
