Notes:
!Birth: MFR 6:85,217.
From "History of Barrington Township" by Edwin Crowell: "Isaac King, gr son of John & Mary (Bangs) King, m. Lydia, dau. Joseph Sparrow.
He and his family, except his son Isaac, moved to Mass., in 1776 where he died before 1783. The Record shows that his Second Division lots at that time was laid out to "heirs of Isaac King."
He went to Nova Scotia in or before 1762, and were there at least until Oct 1776, where he was town clerk of Barrington, but moved to Salem, Mass., between 16 Nov 1776 and 9 Feb 1777 when son Amasa was bapt. in Salem.
!Census 1769, July 1, Barrington NS, says he has 7 sons, 1 dau.
1762: Isaac King appears in the account book at Barrington, NS, indicating that he is residing there by that time.
5 Oct 1768: Isaac King & wife Lydia sold land in Eastham, Mass. [MD 17:126]
19 Oct 1776: Isaac King, Sr., petitioned in Barrington to "transport themselves from thence", and to bring fish, etc., to Salem or Newbury on the Ship "Hope" with Capt. Heman Kenney.
15 Nov 1776: The petition was approved.
These indicate that probably in the second half of Nov., 1776, Isaac King transported his family to Salem, Mass. There, they joined the Salem Tabernacle where son Amasa was baptised on 9 Feb 1777.
